About US

Welcome to First Advantage Learning, where we believe in nurturing young minds and providing them with the best possible start in life. Founded with a deep dedication to quality childcare and literacy acquisition by age 3, First Advantage Learning is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children of all ages.

At First Advantage Learning, we understand the critical importance of early childhood education. That’s why our programs are meticulously designed to cater to the developmental needs of children aged 6 weeks to 13 years. From our youngest infants to our curious pre-teens, we offer a comprehensive curriculum that fosters growth across various domains.

Our center provides more than just childcare; we offer an enriching educational experience that prepares children with a strong foundation in early literacy, math, language development, science, art, music, and movement. Through engaging activities and interactive learning experiences, we aim to instill a lifelong love for learning in every child who walks through our doors.

Central to our philosophy is the belief that every child is unique and deserves to be supported and celebrated for who they are. We embrace diversity and strive to create an inclusive environment where children from all backgrounds feel valued, respected, and empowered to thrive.

First Advantage Learning is more than just a childcare center – it’s a community where families come together to support one another and where children are encouraged to explore, discover, and dream big. We invite you to join us on this journey of growth, learning, and endless possibilities.

Thank you for considering First Advantage Learning as your partner in your child’s educational journey. We look forward to welcoming you into our family.

Elsie I. Bassey Director

As a devoted advocate for children, I’m deeply committed to nurturing the potential of every student through effective coaching and mentorship, fostering improved reading comprehension and critical thinking abilities. My educational journey includes studies at both Texas Southern University (TSU) and the University of Houston (UOFH). During my time at TSU, I majored in Business Administration and was an active member of the Texas Southern University Dance Company and contributed as a Dance assistant. My academic journey culminated at the University of Houston, where I specialized in interdisciplinary studies and humanities. I embarked on my
teaching career as a substitute teacher, and this experience ignited my enduring passion for Special Education.
As an Educator, I have always developed creative ways to impact children in learning through critical thinking.
